Tom Marshman just left the shop floor space at Residence after his final run through of the Birmingham version of Move over Darling for shout this weekend. Tom has been working with Birmingham based LGBT adults, focusing on the testimonies of the over 60s to weave together fragments of stories, traces of memories for this Birmingham version of his successful show which celebrates the lives of gays and lesbians through their own stories.
Jo Bannon will be heading back from Ireland soon where she has been on a MAKE residency this week, a really great initiative set up by cork midsummer festival, Dublin Fringe Festival, Project Arts centre and Theatre Forum to support the production of new performance work.
SHOUT and MAKE that’s what we like this week.
