We’ve moved into a new home in Bristol with two other artist-led collectives:
We’ve taken over the legendary Brunswick Club, a former Working Mans’ Club, in St Pauls with its skittle alleys, dance hall, bars and lounges. Brunswick Club is now home to Bristol Experimental & Expanded Film (BEEF), Residence, CHAMP and Thorny along with sound artists- in-residence Melanie Clifford and Howard Jacques who will be broadcasting their weekly BTTTB show on Resonance FM from the Brunswick Club.
The project will be a catalyst for collaboration across art forms providing much needed rehearsal space to Residence, studio and project spaces, a photochemical darkroom and sound studio, installation and exhibition space. Expect a rolling programme of performances and happenings, sonic experimentation, artists’ films and queer nights.
The Launch Event will be on 3rd March featuring performances, screenings, music, and happenings (and skittles) from members of the Brunswick Club:
Bristol Experimental Expanded Film (BEEF) is an experimental film and sound collective. CHAMP is an artist collective with a DIY ethos.
THORNY are a family of makers, performers and promoters.
Bermuda Triangle Test Transmission Broadcasts are Melanie Clifford & Howard Jacques.
