Hideaway with Lucy Ellinson

We’re very pleased to announce our fourth weekend hideaway, a mini-residency program which has been supported by Bristol City Council with funding from the Creative Seed Fund. This year so far we have hosted Nigel Barratt and Louise Mari, Life of a Craphead, Neil Callaghan and Simone Kenyon, and tomorrow we will be welcoming Lucy Ellinson. Lucy will be staying here with us at The Milk Bar, to meet and talk and eat with Residence’s community of performance makers.
An actor and theatre-maker specialising in devised and experimental performance and international new writing; Lucy is a member of Third Angel and is an associate artist with Forest Fringe and The Gate Theatre in London. Her own theatre-work often focuses on political participation and protest (and occasionally boy-bands).
Current work: MadMan by Chris Goode (Drum Theatre, Plymouth); Grounded (The Gate) #TORYCORE (The Arches Brick Award 2012), Kaidan and One Minute Manifesto (Forest Fringe, Northern Stage, BAC).
