Sat 15 February 2014, 12h00 -16h00
The Milk Bar, 11 St Nicholas Street, Bristol, BS1 1UE
Residence are proud to announce their third Hideaway weekender with performance makers Simone Kenyon and Neil Callaghan. Neil & Simone will be moving into the studio at The Milk Bar to work on their newest project. As part of the events, they will be running a workshop that is open for the Bristol performance community and free of charge.
About the workshop:
Rather than sharing the ways in which Neil & Simone are generating material, or working with material from their latest piece in development, this workshop will seek to open up an investigation into how to structure material.
Neil & Simone will share the questions, concerns and processes they have been working with in the making of their new performance, including a sharing of their experience of working with João Fiadeiro and his method of Real Time Composition. For more info about Neil & Simone please go to www.neilandsimone.co.uk
The workshop is suitable for performance makers, artists and curious people who are interested in exploring how events unfold over time. It will take place on Sat 15 February 2014 from 12h00 till 16h00 at The Milk Bar. Please e-mail Ella via firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a place. Spaces are limited and will be given out on a first come first served basis.
Hideaway is a micro residency programme produced by Residence and supported by Bristol City Council through the Creative Seeds fund.
